The arguments begin and all must learn to listen and dialogue. The US Supreme Court has brought an end to the horrible Roe V. Wade decision.
I am posting this now when I really should wait, but the Court did the right thing, and many have no idea what it really means. I will get to that later, in a separate post.
Right now, as one of many people arrested in front of an abortion clinic in Omaha, when the Operation Rescue Movement was spread by an evangelical Randall Terry and Joan Andrews, Denny Hartford of Vital Signs Ministry, Joe Taphorn, a Catholic priest in the making at the time, and the always contentious and passionate man, Larry Donlan, and others whose names I cannot readily recollect, were arrested in front of an Omaha abortion clinic.
I remember going limp and being carried by police to a bus to take us for processing.
Eventually, we were taken to Court and convicted. The decision was appealed. Judge Robert Burkhard, who died last year (https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/omaha/name/robert-burkhard-obituary?id=31850460), would overturn the decision and set us free. It was a foreshadowing of events to come.
I hope now: many will engage in the discussion of pregnancy prevention and the importance of health for prenatal infants, as well as the many vast numbers of new technologies available.
As Trump, for all his flaws, he delivered as no other politician has and he did it for the weakest among us, the prenatal infants.
