Yes, you can subscribe to my newsletter and get it in your email box. However, you might be missing some of the updates on my articles. I regularly updates articles so bookmark Andrew’s Thinking Newsletter site which is >https://andrewlsullivan.substack.com/< (remove the arrows) and check to see if the article has changed.
So why the updates? Why did I not get the article right the first time? Partly, because I have past ideas I have written and post, but only afterwards do I realize additional information would be helpful. Context of information is very important but is often disregarded and I want my articles to be see in context.
Second, I am not the best person for grammar and spelling. I tend to pay more attention to how words sound versus what the proper writing is. I tend to have a disregard for vowels and like the sounds of specific letters. I have to persistently correct for this.
Third, stories change as life moves on and readers do contact me with additional information. At times, my writings miss a critical fact and I want my readers to be aware I now know and have added such information. A lot of times, pundits do not share this type of information with their readers, but I believe this is crucial to do to correct errors as the information is at some level processed and shared throughout the internet.
Fourth, I do not want to become a professional paid site. I want to be able to edit articles at will to keep the articles either updated or placed in proper context of the current times. When a writer changes their mind, they should make it clear to their readers.
Oh, but if you really want to give me a tip, you can donate a dollar or two to buy me “coffee” but know I will channel such payments into conservative causes (https://buymeacoffee.com/andrewlsullivan).
