Congressional Corruption
Congress is so corrupt to the point investors have developed a strategy based on how Congressional members invest. Investors have always followed politics but now it has become more personable as some investors are investing in political favored industries, and now, it comes down to what elected officials are invested in.
Congress Trading is a website encouraging such political investments (https://www.congresstrading.com/). If you follow their X account (https://x.com/congresstrading), you will be shocked who repeatedly shows up.
But it is not just congress, but also the political consultant class. The reason I donate to Club for Growth (https://www.clubforgrowth.org/) and Senate Conservatives Fund (https://www.senateconservatives.com/) endorsed candidates is they stick to their principles and target challenging but winnable races. Donations to their candidates goes directly to the candidate. No exploits or bribes.
