Racist Destruction from the Left

Paul Morrison wrote commentary for the Nebraska Examiner regarding Critical Race Theory at link below:

The article contains many numerous links but it borrows from an article of which there is no link to, which I thought odd. I had to hunt it down and his article covers this other article at link below :

And he does not get the conservative argument. Critical Race Theory is not merely a theory but stealth racism of the worst kind, like the racism of low expectations. There are many other variations of this theory which are mostly implicit, not explicit. For years, Thomas Sowell exposed the left for their idiocy in his books Culture and Race, and Black Rednecks and White Liberals and other books (http://tsowell.com/ethnicity_bk.htm), but no one on the left even knows who Thomas Sowell is. So, in responding to Morrison, I have to show the steps of the flawed presumptions made by the left and not merely provide a link to an article.

First, the left looks for any racial disparities as a matter of racial equity or lack thereof. Outcomes, not inputs or actual acts, is where the focus is at. Keep in mind, equity is not equality but a disregard for all individual differences. Second, any racial disparity is by default, presumed to be the result of systemic racism by the left. Third, such racism immediately means the majority race, whites, are guilty, no matter what they have done or not done and need to be blamed at every opportunity, even when they are not the majority, such as in minority-majority cities. Fourth, minorities, specifically Blacks, must be painted out to be pathetic victims in need of eternal pity and substantial help. This is what Wokism is.

CRT and Wokism are no different than what a White Supremacist does. They see the racial disparities and merely conclude this means Whites are superior to Blacks. And therefore, they hate Black people. Either way, these racial claims are fraud.  My recommendation is stop comparing the races and start identifying problems and address them. Many of the problems are a result of culture, family, and economic class. Blacks, those descendants of slaves, have most often been blue collar workers yet academics see them as idiots but when they are not. A blue collar family is happy to have schools babysit their kids but they are not necessarily going to push their children into a college when there are good paying blue collar jobs. Like Morrison, I would love to have more people learn about history as most people will only get a brief summary from textbooks. There is a lot more to learn and a variety of perspectives. However, CRT and other CRT variations engage in creating falsehoods as Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky have often done. Morrison’s article links to many of these falsehoods, misinformation and distractions to support CRT.

Years ago, a White student in a Black Studies course came to me for assistance. They were going to debate against a Black Nationalist who was saying Blacks should form a new home in Africa and have the USA pay for it. The student was stunned when I told him it had already been done. The country is Liberia. (https://www.britannica.com/place/Liberia/History) Never heard of it? Probably for the same reason you might have never heard the history of Haiti (https://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/History/Haiti-history.htm). Both countries are unstable and  economically poor. Unfortunately, US citizens rarely encounter this history and if they did, they would rethink what the political left is proclaiming. Civilization requires rules and those rules must be learned and upheld. 

The Civil War is the focus of much debate. Statues of Robert E. Lee are taken down without any understanding of his role or importance. He is defamed beyond the facts. General Lee was the best American general ever for he brought to an end America’s most deadliest war, the Civil War. Do not give me all the rhetoric about racism and slavery when Lincoln had no intention of freeing slaves and was clearly, and unequivocally a White supremacist. Lincoln did the Emancipation Proclamation in the hopes of a slave uprising but it did not happen. The man who ended slavery was Gen. Benjamin Butler who learned, during prisoner of war exchanges, not to return Black combatants to Confederate forces. Congress would follow his lead. Today, Butler’s role in ending slavery is largely ignored (https://www.britannica.com/biography/Benjamin-F-Butler). Oh, and dare I remind you Butler was a Republican? With all his flaws, the reason we honor Lincoln is because he preserved the Union.

At the same time, the left ignores there were Black slave owners and the worldwide practice of slavery. Sowell wrote much about these facts. Here is a reading. (

Morrison’s article wants White people to buy the new racist ways and correct their “personal racism” by reading the book White Fragility. Absolute nonsense. People are provincial, prejudice, ignorant and bigoted. It comes naturally and the way to work against it, is to learn more about more people instead of hating and defaming them.  Better to focus on the accomplishment of individuals, instead of grouping people by race. Morrison’s position is so horrendous, it is openly mocked to the point the Babylon Bee put out a book on the subject. See link below:
