Has anyone noticed Congressman Bacon and Trump have the same first and middle name, Donald John? Anyways, considering how so many people believe both Trump and Biden are a disaster, I recommend they vote for Congressman Don Bacon for President.
The Democrat Party should nominate Congressman Bacon to be their Presidential candidate. After all, Bacon keeps citing sources saying he is a moderate, not a conservative. Here he posts on X, without citing a source, claiming he has been a highly effective Republican. Effective at what though? Being moderate?
I have no idea who is running Bacon’s campaign but he appears to have overrun whatever his advisors recommend. He should not have become involved in a tit-for-tat spat in a Virginia race (https://andrewlsullivan.substack.com/p/wont-vote-for-bacon).
Bacon is like Kevin McCarthy. They let Democrats run the place when they have no right to do. This is why some Republicans are taking these conflicts to court (https://rightnewswire.com/liz-cheney-got-called-out-for-this-unlawful-act-at-the-supreme-court/). Peter Navarro, and Steve Bannon are in jail simply because Democrats broke the rules to put them in jail (https://peternavarro.substack.com/p/democrats-need-to-recognize-reality).
And to add to the dilemma, there is now a book out about just what happened on January 6 and the two women who died (https://www.amazon.com/ASHLI-Untold-Story-Women-January/dp/B0D47GF7YL). Are Republicans such as Bacon going to recognize such women and what happened to them? Doubt it! What I can tell you is his political vendettas do not result in meaningful change and may actually make things worse and most certainly do not represent Nebraska interests.
Bacon has continuously touted his I bend over and take it from Democrats awards. I understand compromise to get things done but you have to have some principles and he has NONE. Their should be no compromise in the HOuse or Senate - you sell out your principles - if you have any and the founders had hoped that men of principle would seek office and little to nothing would get done because they for the most part did not compromise their principles. Compromise is way over rated by those of us that believe in freedom. Compromise shows a lack of conviction in many cases - that weakness is why we have moved so far to the crazy side. Our side roles over like a chihuahua - all bark and no bite. The other side picks a crazy idea and like a dog with a meaty bone just keeps it taking on all takers.
I'm catching up on all of the Substack posts from over the weekend and... when I saw this, I had to laugh. I just called and read Mike Flood's office the riot act over Steve Bannon being in jail.
I sent him a letter too.
What a bunch of wusses.
