Marketing and Scamming on Hate

Patriot Front, Antifa, SPLC and the ADL

The legacy media is obsessed over hate groups. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) are frequently cited. The ADL and SPLC are first and foremost political research organizations and they focus on marginal political groups, mostly often on the right. The largest problem is these organizations either pose or are presented as public safety organizations by the mainstream media when they are not.

Furthermore, these organizations do fundraising with political bias which makes the situation worse. Vague and ill-defined terms are used without any substantial basis in fact or any relation to danger. This is what fanciful marketing schemes do.

The bias creates a blind spot for the ADL and SPLC. Identity politics on the left is being mirrored by “White” organizations, yet the “People of Color” on the left are ignored while some “White” organizations are incorrectly branded as “white supremacy” or “hate” groups, instead of being called reactionaries. The focus on criminal activity is often absent. One reason Proud Boys was so maligned was because it actively confronted violent extremists such as Antifa. In reality, Proud Boys is a multi-racial fraternity defending Western Civilization.

Both the ADL and SPLC failed to recognize the problems of Antifa, and Black Lives Matter for the same reason they could not see the growing number of anti-Semites on the left: blatant political bias without any standardization as to what was in the best public interest. The public quickly became aware Antifa, Black Lives Matter and various Marxist/Maoist groups which were blocking their roads, and smashing windows. Yet ADL and SPLC focused on groups such as the Patriot Front, an alt-right group which is mostly guilty of doing graffiti.

During the George Floyd riots, Omaha roads were blocked and windows smashed. Omaha had a curfew and the National Guard was called out. Many of the rioters were later released and charges were often dropped. The time to be concerned about public safety was too late for the ADL and SPLC and many of their left-wing allies.

The SPLC takes it to another level. SPLC attacks Confederate monuments such General Robert E. Lee statues. They ignore the fact Lee single-handedly ended the Civil War which is why the statues were built. What do you think happens when these monuments are removed? The result is significant backlash. When you start tearing down what other people value, how long will it be before you start tearing down people you don’t value?

SPLC and ADL should do more to understand the importance of the Rule of Law when evaluating groups. When Kristallnacht took place, it was not just bad news for Jews but for all of Germany, for from that day forth, everyone knew the law could not be counted on to defend people’s lives, liberties and properties. For this reason, any evaluation of marginal organizations should focus on what the public safety risk actually is and use clearly defined words instead of vague suppositions.
