Who is more mentally ill? Senator Megan Hunt who outed her 12-year-old "son” (https://omaha.com/news/state-and-regional/govt-and-politics/nebraskas-debate-on-trans-health-care-gets-personal-for-one-lawmaker/article_e5a92d64-c8b8-11ed-8cd1-8b2f0cf8a226.html)? Or Senator Machala Cavanaugh who is filibustering everything with no strategy in sight?

But supposedly this is all about “gender affirmative care”. Well, this puts me in a difficult bind because I cannot outright show you what they are enabling without upsetting readers with porn. Yet, I can give instructions! Go to Google and click on the option to search images. Type in “trans porn”. The results will be very clear: medical monstrosities. Yet, OutNebraska (https://outnebraska.org/about-us/) will call it gender-affirming care (https://outnebraska.org/anti-transgender-bills-introduced-in-legislature-outnebraska-statement/).

I am not a professional psychologist or sociologist but I have done my share of study on these topics. These parents claiming their children are transgender are mentally ill with what amounts to Munchausen by proxy.  Munchausen syndrome by proxy is a psychological disorder marked by attention-seeking behavior by a caregiver who gains attention by seeking medical help for exaggerated or made-up symptoms of a child or person in their care. The caregiver may actually cause the symptoms (https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/munchausen-by-proxy). Some say the syndrome is rare but others say it is common (https://people.com/crime/myths-about-munchausen-by-proxy-debunked/).

As for those with gender dysphoria, they have a very strong contrast of what gender and gender roles mean or should be which contributes to their condition. As for youth, the claimed dysphoria can be distorted by hormones and fear of growing up. Going through puberty and new expectations for being older can cause substantial confusion and anxiety. Youth also experience a lot of worthless drama over trivial things. A child of a single parent would have more stress to deal with as well.

So, Senator Hunt wins on this one. She publicly stated she had applied for Medicaid four times to have gender treatments at a cost of $7,000 for her “son” without any regard for her “son’s” privacy. Now, you can see why healthcare professionals are pushing the gender identity movement. There is money to be made and sick people to exploit.
