More information and clarification on the elections is coming through. Voter Information Project is advising people to wait to learn more, before you vote
(https://www.voterinformation.org/).
Also, the Nebraska Republican Party (https://ne.gop/endorsements/) has clarified the list of candidates they have endorsed in the nonpartisan Nebraska Unicameral.
The Nebraska State Board of Education will be closley watched by various groups and organizations across the State. The Nebraska Republian Party has endorsed the following.
The initiatives are important. Please defend the Nebraska School Scholarship fund, a school choice issue. When it appears on your ballot, the selections are “retain” or “repeal” but no information has been sent out telling people to select “retain”. Vote “Retain” to preserve the scholarship.
Also, Nebraska Catholic Conference (https://necatholic.org/) is explaining their take on the abortion initiatives and their stance.
Initiative 434 does nothing that the law that was passed last year didn't already do--except for making prolifers complicit in voting FOR abortion up to 12 weeks gestation and embedding it as part of our Nebraska state constitution.
Just to be clear: a baby's heart starts beating at 10 weeks. Babies this size are also apparently capable of feeling pain and react with great agony to the violent and horrible things that abortionists do to them.
This is all kinds of sick and twisted, and I am deeply, GRAVELY, grieved and horrified that we prolife people are being told by anyone they trust that supporting this evil is what we all must do.
