The arrogance is staggering. Educated people do not realize the depth of their own indoctrination. One of the last steps in becoming a functional adult is realizing what you were taught in school does not fit reality and is not the end-and-be-all of reality. This is so difficult for people to do, but particularly on the political left.
What is sad to see is so many kind-hearted people leave X for Bluesky because they bought into all the slander, hyperbole, and lies of election politics, and considered X a
”cesspool”.
I am viewing the Nebraska Examiner, which is part of the leftwing group States Newsroom. While the Nebraska Examiner has a presence on X, they have largely moved over to BlueSky and now regularly post there, thus cutting off dialog further.
Their stories still reference more social media for reposting.
You would think writers would want more information, and have at least a dozen social media accounts. You would think there would be a dedication to free of speech. Nope. The Nebraska Examiner has dedicated itself to DEI.
But why does the DEI pandering keep happening when it has nothing to do with what is going on? Why is organized crime taking over neighborhoods? Why can’t the US Federal Government balance a budget? Why do we continute to receive government programs which undermines people’s ability to live?
The educated people have been indoctrinated to the point, they cannot see their take on issues do not match what people are personally experiencing. This is why dialog is so necessary.
Here is a train going through Los Angelas. Is this racism and sexism at work here? Why the trash? Why the homeless encampment? Suddenly, merely asking such questions, will cause the left to brand you the enemy. Yet, someone has to be held accountable and someone has to find a solution.
For years, the left has been convincing states to allocate their Presidential electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote, known as they National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact and https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/maine-governor-allows-national-popular-vote-legislation-to-become-law-5630104).
Had this Compact come into being, Trump, with winning the popular vote, would have won 520 Electoral Votes (https://saveourstates.com/blog/trump-wins-520-electoral-votes).
And that would be a very, very, very merry Christmas!
