For decades now, Wreaths Across America (https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/About/OurMission) have placed wreaths on the graves of veterans and do so in Nebraska. In 2016, the Omaha National Cemetery opened (https://cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/Omaha.asp) and many wreaths are placed here. The Omaha Chapter of the Nebraska Sons of the American Revolution (https://nebraskasar.org/omaha-chapter/) are encouraging you to donate to assist them in respecting deceased veterans (https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/159544/Overview/?relatedId=14880). On December 14, they will places the wreaths on the graves of veterans as many others will do around the country.
The effort is inspirational:
Yet, eventually, someone pointed out to me: “So, your killing a bunch of trees and ripping their branches, and throwing the branches on a bunch of dead people?” Well, that is one hell of a cynical way to view it but in the end, some people feel that way.
So I thought this over. I have wondered how best to raise money for organizations. Right now, the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution could use an infusion of funds to update and expand their efforts. The organization preserves American history, and as a heritage lineage organization, does genealogy work.
As I was clicking about the internet, I think I found a potential solution: pizza. More specifically, Little Caesars Pizza! I checked their website and they support fundraising efforts! So I set a fundraising campaign at link below which provides bargains for all pizza lovers!
Please note, the PIZZA! PIZZA! offers end November 14. So this offer will not last long!
