Pillen Needs COVID Stance Clarification

Many Conservatives Are Angry

There are many new conservative organizations such as Nebraska Freedom Coalition (https://www.nebraskafreedom.org/), Nebraskans Against Government Overreach (https://nago.group/), Jennifer Hicks of Voices of Nebraska (https://rumble.com/user/voicesofnebraska) and now Outlaw Streamers which includes former KFAB host Chris Baker (https://outlawstreamers.com/).

Jim Pillen is the Republican nominee for Governor and will likely be Nebraska’s next governor. Pillen was also on the Nebraska Board of Regents which governs the Nebraska university system. He was on the Board during the COVID pandemic. Many conservatives wish he had done more to confront COVID mandates in the university system including masks, vaccines, and passports. Jennifer Hicks has publicly stated numerous times, her son was denied a college education because he refused to wear a mask. The vaccine passports at UNL were the most egregious attack on individual liberty ever.

Pillen needs to fess up and apologize for not opposing such mandates more aggressively. Furthermore, he needs to endorse Ricketts stance in opposing such COVID mandates. Right now, no one knows what his COVID policies will be as nothing is mentioned on his website (https://www.jimpillen.com/) You can email Pillen at Info@JimPillen.com. I would encourage you to contact him for the sake of freedom as well as of the fact the gubernatorial race will impact down ballot races, and conservatives need to show up in force.

To the new conservatives, or should I say COVID conservatives, please think more strategically, tactically and politely. Politics is not about electing a messiah. Elections are just one arena of addressing issues. There are many others. There are plenty of institutions providing routes for engagement. Also, keep in mind, political parties are run by volunteers with sincere passions. You do not get anywhere by bashing them unfairly. State your objections clearly.

To the Republican establishment, times change and new movements come about. Have patience and do lots of explaining. However, know when you are in deep waters. 2000 Mules which is about election fraud is showing in theaters and I cannot help but get mad at Douglas County Election Commissioner Brian Kruse and Secretary of State Bob Evnen for not doing more to discourage this practice. Why are there any drop boxes at all?  I wish Evnan had told the Westside School district not to mail out ballots to all registered voters. I want more transparency on such elections and not be forced to go to the Douglas County Attorney’s Office for election records. Key word: T R A N S P A R E N CY!
