The left is into entropy, supporting inevitable social destruction and decline. From abortion to supposed man-made climate change, to putting children on puberty blockers, the left has no concerns about the future. Even in personal economics, many have no savings and are living paycheck to paycheck. The US debt continues to grow but there are no widespread efforts to discuss it. No planning or thoughts of the future, let alone, the past.
We live in an era of invitro-fertilization and gay couples adopting kids. This is a large experiment. In fact, the United States is an ongoing experiment in self-governance, but few appear to take notice any more of the past or the future of this experiment. So what of the future? People do not care for the same reason they do not care for the past. They are so focused on the present and self-gratification with no idea of where they are in the constellation of the human race. But posterity matters as it charts the future by knowing where we have already been.
If you want to know how bad it gets, ask people about their family heritage. Many people take some pride but they become discouraged by the process and complications of human life and know very little. Ancestry (https://www.ancestry.com) and Family Search (https://www.familysearch.org/en/) are great ways to get started to start a search. The information age and the internet has made obtaining such information far more easier compared to the past. Yet, with so much ease, people still resist the pull of history and what it will mean to the future.
So why search? Because you never know what you will find or who you will help. You will also bring history to light and appreciate more what happened and why. You will encounter a larger world beyond your immediate family. There are numerous genealogy groups such as the Greater Omaha Genealogical Society (https://gogsne.org/) But the greatest groups are those connecting people with US military heritage.
There is the Sons of the American Revolution (https://www.sar.org/) and their larger sister organization, the Daughters of the American Revolution (https://www.dar.org/) The Civil War spawned their own organizations such as the Sons of Confederate Veterans (https://scv.org/) and Sons of Union Veterans (https://suvcw.org/)
Unfortunately, few take the time to review their family history or put it into context. Also, many fear applying to an organization to prove their heritage, let alone participate. However, such documentation becomes available for future generations to know who we were. Posterity does matter.
So people on the left have no savings and live from payday to payday eh? What is your evidence. This 'article' is flimsy and reads more like an advertisement. How about a bit of honesty. Are you getting any payments for people who sign up to Ancestry via your site?
