Lost Letters
The Omaha World Herald is moving to E-Editions and does not “print” on Mondays, and does not put opinions in the “holiday editions”. So, you never saw my Pulse letter of November 11 because it was a “holiday”. Yes, that is a holiday for banks, stock exchange and Federal employees, but the rest of us do work. Here it is:
Which leaves me asking, did the World Herald actually publish my letter, or pocketed it away for online commenters? I am not the only letter writer who this is being done to.
The point of the Pulse is to know what is on the public mind and to clarify facts. Today, this letter appears.
But Hoefer is citing David J. Bier, Director of Immigration Studies, and The Selz Foundation Chair in Immigration Policy. Bier has always been defending President Biden immigration policies (https://www.cato.org/commentary/biden-cant-stop-immigration-time-embrace-it#). In one of his articles, he says immigration can’t be stopped.
