Update: Since YouTube has deleted the Musk interview of Trump, find it at Rumble at https://rumble.com/v5arhe5-president-trumps-exclusive-interview-with-elon-musk-on-x.html
Revolutions do not require tanks or changes in government leaders. Often, the smallest of changes can have vast impacts on peoples.
At the end of an event, I started chatting with two elderly Republican men. One of them had a paper copy of the Wall Street Journal and pointed to an article about Trump taking issue with the Republican Governor of Georgia and criticized Trump. I had already sized this elderly man up.
He has already chosen a medium, and subscribed to it in paper form and was carrying it with him. Because of this, he is unwilling to challenge what the Wall Street Journal article says or seek other sources of information, unless other information sources already verify what he has already read in the Wall Street Journal. To him, the Wall Street Journal provides him with the information he needs so why ever challenge it?
Because of this, he had narrowed his view of the world to the point of being chauvinistic. If you do not read the Wall Street Journal, you must be a neanderthal according to him.
I tried to give this elderly gentleman an outlet. He seemed to be a very nice, articulate, and thoughtful, and we agreed on conservative policies. I asked, “Have you listened to Trump speak for 90 minutes from his rallies?” The man said “No, I could not do that”. I asked him if he had listened to Marjorie Taylor Greene, and again, he said no.
I exercised great discipline in not chastising him for his hypocrisy. He was critical of Trump for criticizing a Republican Governor, while at the same time, he had already chosen not to listen to two Republicans whose names are Trump and Greene. If you are not willing to listening to Republicans but instead parrot wanted is printed in a newspaper, you may be quite blind as to what is going on.
At the same time, the Kamala Harris campaign lists no issues on their website and has had no press conference with the media. You would think this would have come up in the discussion but it did not. Harris is trying to run without a platform. At the same time, Tim Walz has peculiar views regarding Jews (https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/timothy-tim-walz). As for Trump, he speaks to his audiences, and if you are not part of his audience, you are going to miss what he says. This is why much of the news media takes issue with what Trump says. However, Trump is doing interviews. Trump did an interview with Dr. Phil.
Now Trump is going to be interviewed by Elon Musk on X and other platforms.
Also, Trump did his own press conference recently.
Oh, but I suppose the critics will say Youtube is a "right-wing source". Sigh, cannot win for trying.
