Judge Bellis Runs a Witch Trial

The Sandy Hook School shooting has resulted in the emboldening of lawyers over justice. For Connecticut, a small state as far as size, with a large, urban population, the results are conformists and group thinking. Also, this is where witch trials started (https://www.wethersfieldhistory.org/articles/connecticuts-witch-trials/). With all this, all the worse aspects of illogic come to play.

Wikipedia outlines the history of the events (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandy_Hook_Elementary_School_shooting) but considering what has become known as the Sandy Hook Lawyers, I wonder what facts were sued out of existence. The whole purpose of defending freedom of speech is to receive as much information as possible but even Wikipedia has difficulties with this.

The Sandy Hook Lawyers shook down Remmington gun company for 33 million dollars and pushed social media companies to ban Alex Jones outright. Take issue with Alex Jones for being hyperbolic and over-the-top outrage but he has frequently exposed facts ignored by the mass corporate media. If only it was about money.

Now, these Sandy Hook Lawyers want to permanently silence Jones and Judge Bellis is making it possible. Lawyer Robert Barnes, who represents Alex Jones, has taken issue with Judge Bellis for abusing her powers and putting impossible demands on the Jones defense attorneys (https://banned.video/watch?id=633c8264dd439a3719d68768).

Most horrifically, Judge Bellis does not appear to understand the purpose or meaning or use of the law and her own powers. The worst of the worse is entitled to a defense. In other words, the Devil has to have its advocate. If you favor individual freedom and oppose tyranny, yes, the Devil must have a defense. But Judge Bellis wants Jones in jail as if he is a witch and wants no possibility of him escaping long imprisonment.

English Barrister Thomas More understood the principles of law. A play was written about him which was turned into a movie: A Man For All Seasons. Written by Robert Bolt, who understood the principles as well, wrote:

Jones will likely become like a J6er, or Edward Snowden, or Julian Assuage: another fine example of US hypocrisy over freedom. No civilization can be perfect, but I expect more Americans to rise up in defense of freedom. Perhaps, I ask too much.
