The World Herald’s should take the word “world” out of their name. They no longer represent or cover a diverse set of viewpoints. They have settled in on dogma and refuse to print anything to the contrary and ban dissenting views as “misinformation”. The result is a narrow, shallow and hollow view of the world. With COVID, there is now a bandwagon effect to “follow the science” while ignoring data and information pointing in a completely different direction. Somehow the scamming authority is mistaken for science and the World Herald feeds on it from the UNMC, to Douglas County Health to the CDC as if no one else practices medicine.
Reporters and journalist are not allowed to raise questions and are blocked by the editors. If their research goes where the editor or publisher does not want, their work will be cut short. The vast majority of reporters and journalists never read a non-fiction book on the topics they cover because their editors would never want them to understand a topic well enough to ask critical questions.
Here are the facts on how masks gained support. After the World Health Organization (WHO) was created, it did contract tracing for small pox, a virus 30 times more deadly than COVID. Small pox was largely spread by spit, so putting a mask on a sick person would block the virus. But there were no masks mandates or vaccine mandates. Health professionals would find the cases of small pox and encouraged exposed people to become vaccinated. Eventually, small pox was eradicated.
With COVID, the World Health Organization reflected on their history and presumed masks were a good option and the United States and the CDC followed suit, ignoring all the previous data which show masks cannot stop an airborne virus such as COVID. Data proving the masks do not work has been completely ignored, hidden and made taboo.
Douglas County Health Department listed transmissions on their website. There was “direct contact transmission” and “community transmission”. Within months, COVID was clearly airborne as most transmissions were “community transmissions”. The designations were removed from the website. Contract tracing does not work against an airborne virus and the practice came to a halt as the pandemic continued. The ease and quickness of how such history was hidden is quite disturbing.
The vaccine dogma became severe and emboldened. Natural immunity was dismissed over the vast majority of practicing physicians. Co-factors such as obesity, vitamin D deficiencies and advanced old age were hidden. The idea of therapeutics took a beating yet doctors still prescribe ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine when they can and do so with success. The quest for the vaccines received 100 percent support from the Herald which ignored the long history of failures of using vaccination against respiratory viruses. The best vaccine against an airborne virus is the flu shot, a collective vaccine, which is about 50 percent effective. This is why the flu shot should not be taken in May, but in October when flu season is about to hit and should be taken by senior citizens who are most at risk.
There is no sympathy for those who are “vaccine hesitant”. Mandate the shot, they say. So if a 29 year old pregnant woman is forced to get the vaccine and later miscarriages, how will you ever convince her: she did not lose the child because of the vaccine? Also, there are over 11,000 people in Douglas County who were vaccinated against COVID but still ended up with COVID. These people make up 10 percent of the over 107 thousand people in the County who have had COVID. Just how effective are these COVID vaccines?
The United States has the world’s largest amount of COVID cases and COVID deaths. Cases have skyrocketed in the middle of winter when the sun is not around long enough to give a nice boost of vitamin D and when the vaccines taken last March have run their course and are failing: a perfect storm. Had there been a strategy to implementing the vaccine and a recognition of the co-factors contributing to COVID, many more people would be alive today and many would have been spared being in the hospital and fear would not dominate the public mind. The World Herald was never there for Omaha in providing all the actual facts and controversies. The result is all of Omaha has suffered. So, if you are wearing a mask out of fear, I hope you are right now wearing a condom too, so you prevent sexually transmitted diseases. Oh but you are just riding the bus? Too bad! You have no right to infect people! Or at least, that is how dogma goes.
