Fundraising Gears Up

Update, yet another one against guns.

Nebraska Progressives find themselves panicking as their agenda is being abandoned left, right, and center. Nebraska Senator Megan Hunt claimed the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee has never invested in Nebraska Legislative races (https://twitter.com/NebraskaMegan/status/1648147866421022721).

The result has been a whole new set of organizers and fundraisers which should concern conservatives. Nebraska Senators M. Cavanaugh, Frederickson, and Hunt formed a new PAC to fund wild-eyed progressives (https://www.advocate.com/politics/machaela-cavanaugh-frederickson-hunt-pac) with the hope of having a national impact but it is just a front for Act Blue of the Democrat Party.

Also, there is now a scramble from the progressives to get “women” to run for political office (https://www.womenwhorunne.org/). Want to know why I put “her” in quotes?

There is also a truly absurd organization, Nebraska Poor People’s Campaign deceptively aimed at moderates (https://www.3newsnow.com/news/political/nebraska-poor-peoples-campaign-rooted-in-national-civil-rights-movement-rallies-at-state-capitol) but they are merely laundering long time progressive talking points.

Oh, and the climate change garbage issue has to join in. Central High now has Students for Sustainability (https://www.omahacentralregister.com/5538/news/students-for-sustainability-an-upcoming-club-in-omaha and https://www.3newsnow.com/news/local-news/nebraska-students-demand-action-by-elected-officials-on-growing-climate-crisis).

Finally, the left has Nebraska Against Gun Violence (https://nebraskansagainstgunviolence.com/).  Many will probably join this organization never knowing why people own firearms, let alone how to use one but they protest (https://www.ketv.com/article/gun-control-advocates-focus-on-permitless-carry-at-lincoln-rally-thursday/43534670).
