The United States is entering a pre-war stage. The question is, will it be on the international front or on the domestic front?
Right now, Russia wants territory and China does too. How will the US respond? With trillions of dollars of debt, the response is limited. Maybe Russia gains territory after accepting Ukraine joining NATO. Who knows?
Domestically, the situation is just as dire. The Trump phenomenon capitalizes on everything. The left hates Trump because he was the first Republican to take Democrat tactics and use them against Democrats. This caused the most purists of conservatives to hate Trump, who opposed such tactics, and did not understand Trump’s appeal to the blue-collar class abandoned by Democrats. At the same time, such action caused Democrats to act as if they were facing the ultimate evil, a new Hitler, which resulted in mass ridicule because it was too comical.
Let me make my position abundantly clear. Those charged with any offense on January 6 at the Capital should not be subject to more than 14 days of jail and a $500 fine. I support the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers in their defense of American liberties. Charges of insurrection are idiotic. Real insurrections think of strategy, bring tanks, guns, and more, but there was no strategy for insurrection. I guess if I give a middle finger to the Federal Government, I am an insurrectionist!
I will willfully pay my taxes to the Federal Government but not out of love or patriotism but out of fear of the brutal force it would unleash against me to pay such taxes. There is no liberty to embrace here. I am just a compliant Branch Davidian trying to avoid being run over by a Federal tank and demonized by a compliant national “news” media.
If President Biden and the Democrats had any sense of mercy, they would quickly work to settle all issues with the 2020 election but they refuse to do so. Their actions are purely political. The more outrage against Trump they can create, the more support they gain, or so they suppose. Yet, the public is beginning to see through this mirage. But what of war?
Many will disagree and say war will not happen but when everyone is in a fishbowl with their own personal selection of facts, conflict is inevitable.
There was an estimated 3 million people in D.C. to support Trump on January 6th. If they had wanted to overturn the government that day, there wasn't anything that anyone could have done to stop them. But they did NOT do that. Ergo--no insurrection, and accusing them of trying to create one is laughable and ridiculous. And the people who are persecuting them are the ones who REALLY ought to be in jail.
I'm almost sorry that Trump didn't see this coming and understand that if he brought that many people together, then--he had to use them or the vicious nasties in the bureaucracy would find a way to over-react to the challenge to their power and wealth that those 3 million people fundamentally represented. That said, if he doesn't get assassinated, and if he gets another chance at being president, he'd better clean house just as thoroughly as he promised to do the first time. There won't be a third chance.
We ate already at ear, putin has shown restraint- sooner rather than later that will change. We will be fortunate if he only use a tactical nuke, on some land far away
