What is the Status of Nebraska Congressmen?

Right now, lots of conservatives are upset with Don Bacon for voting for the Biden “infrastructure” bill. Unless some good conservative candidate primaried him and could win in the general, he is probably going to stay right where he is. The Democrat Party has collapsed and liberals rather have Bacon instead of a conservative. Blue collar workers are also moving Republican. So what is a conservative to do?

I recommend supporting Club for Growth and Senate Conservatives Fund and their candidates and let Nebraska Republicans know. These organizations fund candidates in the primaries which helps expand the Republican Party among conservatives. Club for Growth focuses more on supply-side economics, while Senate Conservatives Fund focuses on broader conservative issues. If a candidate is endorsed by both groups, you have a super strong candidate to support.  Of course, there will always be someone who gets elected who eventually goes AWOL but that is another topic for another time. And what of Fortenberry? Whenever I hear the words “lied to the FBI”, I hear a government scheming politics or a bureaucratic vendetta. A prosecutor can find a thousand things to accuse people of but when it comes to “lied to the FBI”, it means they don’t have much of a case and they are largely running on heresy to harass someone. Perhaps the prosecutor is seeking to become appointed a judge by some Democrat politician and needed to boost their liberal bona fides. You can be assured the partisan liberal media will cover this story broadly and in detail to drag Fortenberry down.

I also believe the attack is motivated by anti-Catholic bias. Fortenberry received the Order of St. Gregory from the Vatican City. As for Nigerian billionaire, Gilbert Chagoury, he is also Catholic and guess what? He also received the Order of Saint Gregory honor from the Vatican back in 1990 (https://www.gilbertchagoury.com/about/). Who is worried about “agents of Rome?” Left-wing conspiracy nuts and the progressive World Herald which wasted no time in highlighting this detail. However, I expect Fortenberry will beat this all down and be re-elected unless he decides to run or some other conservative runs. Perhaps Matt Innis?
