Update: extremism appeared in Lincoln, Nebraska.
There are many commentaries coming out about Charlie Kirk but Konstantin Kisin brief commentary should give us all pause.
There are silly arguments trying to point one side or other more violent which involves comparing apples and oranges, but who set Tesla dealerships on fire?
This very public assassination of a civilian, as peaceful people gathered in assembly to hear discussions, has shattered Americans to their core. Something has gone wrong and most people know it.
Courage is necessary for freedom to flourish. Kirk was an inspiration on this matter. This video speaks to Kirk’s courage and faith:

Konstantin Kisin feels what is broken and perfectly articulates it here:
I do not know what the future holds but as every father puts there young children to sleep, Kirk’s children go to bed tonight without a father present. His death has awaken people to what has been lost. When civil discourse is lost, what do you have? Tyranny? War?
Kirk was not stabbed to death in a diner, or killed in a break-in to his home, or car accident, or pushed in front of car to be killed. He was assassinated in the broad day light in front of thousands of people. The assassination not only killed Kirk, but showed to many, our right to peacefully assemble and discuss issues is endangered and we are threatened and under attack.
There will be no riots over Kirk’s murder. Only vigils. Yet, wherever these malevolent forces are, they will act again. Whose next on their list? But more importantly, who is next to have the courage to lead in the defense of freedom? Echoing Spartacus, who has the courage to say “I am Charlie Kirk”?
