Update 2, meanwhile, so many have no clue at how hypocritical the Democrats are in setting up a double standard (https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2023/aug/21/stolen-rigged-and-illegitimate-democrats-long-hist/).
Update, this article about ranked-choice voting manages to stick to the dogmatic narrative about Trump by inserting a falsehood (https://nebraskaexaminer.com/2023/08/21/as-ranked-choice-voting-gains-momentum-parties-in-power-push-back/).
The largest problem with the information age, with so many sources, finding reliable information is far more difficult. Yet, so many fail to see all the changes in communications. There are people who merely follow CNN, MSNBC, PBS, or USA Today without understanding, all these sources merely copy each and avoid challenging the prevailing narrative. I have witnessed the impact numerous times with people following such limited sources. They end up in an echo chamber, a fish bowl, where the broader sets of facts never come to light. The end result is self-censorship and a lack of dialogue. Your mind will become programmed by the deception unless you actively seek out other sources of information. But who really does that?
This is where John McCollister, former state senator, and community columnist for the World-Herald, comes to mind, as he has a new column out (https://omaha.com/opinion/column/midlands-voices-election-conspiracy-movement-shows-no-signs-of-abating/article_1ebba8b8-360d-11ee-b7ff-3b54cfc9c214.html). He states of the 2020 presidential election, "Nearly all the suits were dismissed or dropped due to lack of evidence." But McCollister is flat-out wrong. The Trump election cases were dismissed for technicalities of the law. There were no evidentiary hearings. McCollister, like so many others, has fallen for false narratives feeding a hatred of Trump.
The national news networks have no problem echoing each other. They don’t want anyone to check additional sources and details, nor do they have the funds to do actual research. The legacy media stance is clear: if the narrative is profitable, don’t contradict it, even when real facts prove the narrative false. All the efforts to impeach and indict Trump are an attempt to get Trump kicked off the ballot in many states and also make the Republican Party an outlaw party to the point of banning it. If he was not running for President again, do you really think he would be charged or accused of anything?
The Georgia indictments are the most outrageous for falsehoods. The Look Ahead America organization took issue with the indictments. Look Ahead America already has the documentation (https://lookaheadamerica.org/gaindictment/) proving illegal ballots were cast in Georgia but the indictment claims otherwise. Will anyone in the media point this out? No, because the narrative is the profitable dogma which must never be questioned. The narrative is enforced by profits only, not facts or truth. Such profits are the results of cheap click bait on social media. It is a vicious cycle.
Are you still one of those who buys into all the “insurrection” talk of January 6, 2021? Well, you've been fooled. The problem with Capital security on that day is well documented but rarely reported. The Epoch Times (https://www.theepochtimes.com) has been reporting this matter for years. Look Ahead America has gone as far as covering the political prisoners who have been imprisoned over the allegations of “insurrection” (https://j6.lookaheadamerica.org/j6/). Note, the majority of those sentenced on “insurrection” went to jail, and many for a very long time, even if they did not enter the Capital building.
Yet, Tucker Carlson takes the matter a step further. Keep in mind, Carlson was fired from Fox News. Carlson interviews Mr. Sund who had already put out a book Courage Under Fire (https://www.blackstonepublishing.com/courage-under-fire-gps5.html). In part, because ads for the book played up to the “insurrection” angle, the book did not receive much attention for the other details revealed in the book. This changed when Tucker Carlon interviewed him which you can see here on X, formerly Twitter:
