The LGBQT culture, including drag shows targeting kids, is actively promoting the depravity and moral degradation of our youth. If opposing this ideology is labeled hateful, mean, etc - so be it! There is no offense taken when it comes due to hating the exploitation of children. Parents, teachers, peers, no one, has the right to poison the mind of a child with such filth.
The kids that actively defend these actions and ideologies are shining examples of how children are being actively recruited and manipulated into harmful, immoral, and overly sexualized/violent society.
The drag shows fit a different category altogether. While gender identity activists have exploited such performances, the reality is, these assemblies are protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution, the right to peacefully assemble. The drag performers are not necessarily in agreement with the gender identity activists. This is lost on many people.
Something for you to contemplate. In many stage performances, a women will portray Peter Pan, thus doing drag. Banning kids could prevent them from seeing a play of Peter Pan or exclude women from the performing arts. Something to contemplate.
Nobody is referring to cross dressing for the performing arts. It is specific to the promiscuous activities that promote sexual activity, nudity, and performing for aroused adults.
Fair enough. I still think it will face Constitutional challenges. It is one thing to contest a performer, but a completely different in banning an assembly. Have to wait for the shakedown.
I may not agree with Allie on everything, but I agree with her on this, Andrew.
Everyone knows that there's a difference between a woman dressing up to play Peter Pan onstage--or a man dressing up as Mother Ginger, the female character with the enormous tent-sized dress from the Nutcracker--and a drag show.
No one sees Mother Ginger as a sex symbol--and only a pedophile would get excited about Peter Pan. Pedophilia is already, by law, illegal. Porn aimed at pedophiles is NOT protected speech.
You are mixing a lot up. Many child molesters are pedophiles, but not all pedophiles are child molesters. Most rapists are men, but most men are not rapists. This is not mere opinion. The law can only be effective against actions. If legislation is passed banning drag shows, it will take the ACLU 15 minutes to have a judge strike it down.
Well said. Question everything and make them prove it!

Very, very grateful for Senator Kauth!

Absolutely, hence the specification of the drag shows targeted at children. No one would ban such an activity from adults
