Do you think that there are entities in Nebraska that are doing their best to hide this news from Nebraskan voters? Are you over on Nextdoor at all? I haven't seen anything in my inbox from them since the last time I had a "conversation" with someone on there about ways to fight COVID and win.
Very difficult question. To me, the question is it pure bias or flat-out negligence? When reporters begin to whittle down their list of “reliable sources”, they end up being biased as they are effectively avoiding the viewpoints and experiences of others simply because they view them as “unreliable”. I have been consistently reminding my readers of the need to be cosmopolitan in viewing others and take their viewpoint into consideration, but at the same time, this means we can completely disagree with the viewpoint offered. Unfortunately, much of the media and the political left cannot do this and deem it necessary to block off any alternate views which may shatter or alter their worldview.
Unfortunately, this is true. As I reminded a recent commenter over on Gab, I'm fine with people commenting and disagreeing as long as they remain polite and respectful. I do tend to block people on social media, though, when they can't be either one.
